Substitute Sidekicks Business Procedures

Contact business hours are 9-5pm – Monday through Friday

I will reply to voicemails, emails or texts as soon as I possibly can or by the next business day if you contact me after 5pm.

Working Hours:

Dog Walking and Doggy Playtime hours are from 9AM until 5:30PM Monday through Friday. Although I do require a two-hour arrival window to be able to fairly accommodate everyone, my aim is to adhere to my client’s dog walking time request as closely as I can.  


Pet Sitting hours are 730AM until 730PM seven days a week.  Hours requested outside of this time frame will include an extra fee.   Although I do require a two-hour window to be able to accommodate everyone, my aim is to adhere to my client's pet sitting schedule as closely as I can.  

Scheduling/ Changes/ Question/ Etc.:

Please leave a voicemail, text message, or email with any scheduling changes or questions anytime. Though rarely, e-mail servers may be down at times or text messages may not go through. If I have not responded to an email or text message by the end of the next business day, please leave a voicemail for me at (410) 533-3141.  

Emergency Contacts:

I request you to write an emergency contact with a phone number on the “Client Dog Walking Information” sheet who I can get in touch with in case of an emergency if I cannot get in contact with you.

Hazardous Weather/ Serious Illness:

In cases of hazardous weather such as snowstorms, hurricanes, or if states of emergency go into effect, etc… I will usually follow the Anne Arundel County School System plan. I will always notify you promptly of any cancellation via phone call, text message, and email. I reserve the right to cancel walks due to severe weather, states of emergency, or serious illness where a substitute walker cannot be arranged. All payments will be credited to the client’s account or refunded.  

Payment Policies

For clients with an on-going weekly dog walking schedule:

Paying Weekly

  • Payment for the first week will be collected at time of booking
  • On the last day of service for each subsequent week, an envelope with an invoice and payment slip will be left at your home OR a charge to your Venmo account will be made. I will collect payment in the envelope  or look to receive payment via Venmo on the first day of service for the following week.
  • i.e.: Left on a Friday and collected on a Monday (If your dog walking schedule is Monday-Friday)

Paying Monthly

  • Payment for the first month will be collected at time of booking.
  • On the last day of service for the month, an envelope with an invoice and payment slip will be left at your home OR a charge to your Venmo account will be made.  If paying through cash or check, I  will collect paying on the first day of service for the following month or will look to receive payment via Venmo by the first day of service for the following month.

** For clients who’s dog walks are not on an ongoing schedule (i.e. one week), payment is collected at time of booking · For clients who are receiving pet sitting, payment is collected at the time of booking · I may also consider other payment arrangements if necessary to accommodate the client’s needs.

Payment Methods:

· Accepted payment methods at this time are cash check, or Venmo only.
